The wind tunnel

The wind tunnel in Bargeshagen near Rostock is of Göttinger type with semi-open test section. The nozzle cross section is 1.2 m x 1.2 m. The maximum flow velocity is 30 m / s.
For the traceable measurements of the measured signals (flow velocity, environmental parameters, angle of inclination, angle of rotation, etc.), the sensors used are regularly calibrated at DAkkS laboratories. For the calibration of flow direction sensors and for the inclined flow calibration, a fully automatic turning and tilting device is available.

Designed for highest demands

In collaboration with Baltic Windtunnel, MariKom, WIND-consult and Ammonit Measurement, we designed and built the wind tunnel in 2015. In 2016, all necessary measurements and tests for the execution of the calibration services were realized. For measuring the flow velocity, Prandtl tubes and differential pressure doses as well as a laser Doppler anemometer (LDA) are available.
